Two people were killed in a shooting in Tempe Saturday morning and the police investigations have started.
It is said that, a double shooting left one woman dead and a man with life-threatening injuries who was later declared dead after being transported to the hospital on Saturday in Tempe.
The police say that, the incident has occurred just after 10 am near State Route 143 and University Drive and the officers have responded to the area for a possible vehicle burglary.
On arrival at the spot, the police found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds where in, the woman was declared deceased at the scene and the man was taken to the hospital with severe injuries that were life-threatening.
According to the Tempe police, it has been revealed in the early investigations that the incident is related to domestic violence as a homicide and attempt suicide.
The police has also confirmed that there exists no threat to the public as all parties have been identified and no one is outstanding.
The investigation is not yet completed and is ongoing.
