July 28th is celebrated as the World Nature Conservation Day every year and it is a reminder for mankind to preserve the natural resources and nature. It is our responsibility to save the natural resources for the future generations and raise awareness about preserving the environment for a healthy society. Every single human being should be responsible to preserve the nature and they should participate to protect the environment. We need to work together to make the world a sustainable one and ensure well-being for the future generations. You need not invest huge money to save the environment and you can protect nature through some of the day-to-day activities.
The ocean menace created havoc all over and there is a huge amount of plastic traced in the oceans. Plastic water bottles and reusable straws should be strictly prevented or banned from using to save the environment. Prefer other options like Bamboo, paper made stuff for use. Instead of paper tissues, use hand towels. Start a new diet at home by using plant-based products. Use pesticides free food products and organic food. All the containers made of single-use plastic should be strictly banned at home. They can be replaced with stainless steel and reusable glass products. Cloth or paper bags can be used instead of plastic bags for shopping or home usage.
You can invest in energy-saving appliances like LED bulbs that consume less energy. This can reduce the electricity bill. All the waste from your house can be composted and this can improve your backyard. All the vegetable scraps, eggshells and tea bags can be used in a similar manner. Make the unused things at your home for different purposes. Coconut shells, old tyres and others can be converted into creative things.
