Zero plus Zero is Zero: Amit Shah

BJP has chosen Ambedkar Jayanti to kick start the election campaign in the state of Bihar, where the elections are due in this year end. To attract the specific class of people, who are generally considered to be the supporters of Lalu and Nitish parties in Bihar, BJP has reoriented its approach in reaching out the masses.

While addressing the gathering in Patna, BJP president Amit Shah taken on the leaders of JD(U), RJD, and congress for exploiting the politics, and termed their merger plan as zero effective, by saying, “I want to tell Laluji - zero plus zero is zero.” And said “No matter what alliance you form, nothing is going to happen” in his own way. According to his speech, the parties are not enough to face the power of BJP in the upcoming elections individually or united.

The RJD, JD(U), SP, JD(S), and some other parties are planning to come under one roof for combating with the powerful BJP which has dominated the 2014 Lok Sabha general elections. The Manjhi episode and weakened JD(U) are the positive edges of BJP, while the Land bill, Delhi debacle of BJP, multiple contenders for CM post in Bihar are going to be the assets of so called Janata Parivar.
