A new feat for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan's family on Twitter crossed a staggering mark of nine million on Friday. How cool is that! Now he stands second to megastar Amaitabh Bachchan, who has over ten million followers on Twitter.

Shah Rukh joined Twitter in 2010. With his new benchmark, he surpasses contemporaries like Aamir Khan (8.43 million) and Salman Khan (8.25 million) on Twitter (a clear indication of which Bollywood Khan has more clout!)

Shah Rukh not only shares his day-to-day thoughts on Twitter that engages and inspires his fans, but also tweets a constant stream of updates on his film shoots, experiences and travel plans.

The 48-year-old also tweets philosophies often, but most of his tweets reflect his love for his children - Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.

Incidentally, Salman Khan crossed 20 million likes on Facebook on Thursday , the highest for any Bollywood star so far.
