Story
Based on the story of a con man Roy (Ranbir Kapoor) shown in Malaysia , where many of the theft activities especially of painting takes place , but one of the most confusion was been form whereabouts. Kabir khan Might be interested in the story of this man and incorporated into his film.
Ayesha (Jacqueline Fernandez) plays a role of the filmmaker and Kabir’s new girlfriend. How these three characters merge together in dramatic, romantic and suspenseful way is what the movie ROY is all about.
Analysis :
Vikramjit Singh, not borrowed this plot from any of the Bollywood or Hollywood’s earlier movies, this movie not inspired by any other movie which is delivered with a strong cast. Vikram has presented it in a very good manner beyond what everyone was expecting from it conceptualization.
The main aim of bringing, these top three stars is that you won’t move from you seats and not to feel bored while watching the film, which demands your patience and devotion.
The con man story, on the screen, filmmaker Kabir (Arjun Rampal), was taking every possible chance make it not a fast paced or not to create innumerable action sequences.
Debutant Vikramjit Singh succeeded in showing the movie very clearly in all required angel. The climax is presented in such a way were no one might have expected.
Performance :
The scenes shot in locations of Malaysia, cinematography by Himman Dhamija with awesome chemistry of Arjun-Jacqueline’s and Ranbir-Jacqueline’s chemistry adds more depth to the movie.
The performance of these three is at top level and these three are not less than the other in this movie. Ranbir Kapoor is at high ease. In this film, Ranbir is calm and silent never shows his vigorous side unless required.
Arjun Rampal the mastermind in the story has given genuine performance, Jacqueline Fernandez has given good performance till date, and in this plot the Jacqueline has given the best performance than her previous one.
Final Word:
Roy is the best gift for this Valentine’s Day, with a sweet unexpected climax.
