Shah Rukh Khan has resumed shooting for Happy New Year after the injury he suffered on the sets. SRK has resumed work on Farah Khan's film on Tuesday. But doctors have advised the 48-year-old actor against performing heavy scenes.

On January 23, a heavy door crashed against Shahrukh and he was admitted at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. King Khan suffered a shoulder fracture and the patellar tendon in his left knee was torn. Doctors had advised complete rest to SRK at least for two to three weeks.  

'Happy New Year' is scheduled for  Diwali release. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone,  Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, and Vivaan Shah.
