Bhaang pakore is a speciality dish that is usually made during the festival of Holi. However, any time is a good time to prepare this popular snack and enjoy with friends and family. Here is the recipe for bhang ke pakore.
Ingredients required for bhaang pakora
Besan (gram flour): 250 gms
Potatoes: 200 gms
Onions: 150 gms
Spinach: 100 gms
Cauliflower: 200 gms
Brinjal: 200 gms
Ajwain: 5 gms
Pomegranate seed powder: 5 gms
Soda-bicarb: 2 gms
Bhang seed powder: 10 gms
Salt to taste
Oil for deep-frying
Preparation method of bhaang pakora
• Wash vegetables and cut in big chunks. Mix soda-bicarb, besan and salt and add bhang seed powder, red chili powder, ajwain and pomegranate seed powder. Add water to make batter with dropping consistency.
• Heat oil in kadai. Dip vegetable pieces in batter one after the other completely and deep fry them on medium fire, till they turn golden crisp.
• Hot Bhaang pakora are ready to serve.
