Skin happens to be the largest organ of the human body and is quite important. It is exposed to various pollutants and microorganisms on a regular basis. This can lead to infection, immune malfunction and others. One should be aware of the skin disorders and the symptoms of the disorders. Here are some of the common skin disorders:
Vitiligo: This is a condition in which the skin turns pale and has white patches. This happens due to the lack of melanin. This condition is divided into two types: segmental vitiligo and non-segmental vitiligo.
Eczema: This is also called as atopic dermatitis. Skin turns red and leads to swelling and itchiness or dryness. This majorly happens because of asthma and allergies. It can also be impacted because of stress, immune system and the genes.
Psoriasis: This is common and is a chronic skin disease that impacts the scalp, knees, elbows and others. The skin turns dry, cracked, red and you have a burning sensation. Guttate psoriasis, plaque psoriasis, and psoriatic psoriasis are the common types of psoriasis.
Hives: This is a condition that can cause itchy rashes on your skin. Red patches, raised skin lesions, stress and altered temperature will be the reason for hives. It is not contagious but the individual has to find a solution.
Rosacea: It may be mistook as acne and it can lead to red patches. Some of the common symptoms are swelling, eye issues, burning sensation on the skin and others.
