Founder of the adult entertainment company - Girls Gone Wild – Joe Francis is behind the bars now.

The American entrepreneur had been sentenced to 270 days imprisonment and 3-year probation for choking a woman and slamming her head to the ground. The case was reported in 2011.

Joe has, apparently, denied all the five charges under him. Claiming his innocence, he slammed the courts decision as "ridiculous" and "absurd" and has appealed against it to the higher court.

Francis, who is battling dozens of other lawsuits, said he is positive that he will come out clan of all the charges.

“Francis was accused of three counts of false imprisonment, one count of assault by means likely to cause great bodily injury, and one count of dissuading a witness from reporting a crime,” wrote a news source.
