Hollywood's power couple of 13 years — Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones — are headed for the splitsvilla. The big bad news comes after months of speculation over their strained relationship.

Both Michael and Catherine have endured difficult times in recent years, with the former battling throat cancer and  the actress down with bipolar disorder. Apparently, the stress had started weighing down their relationship and the couple has finally decided to call it a day now.

Confirming the news, an insider claimed: “It’s all  over. It’s finished. There is no way back.”

While Douglas (68) is holidaying in Sardinia alone, Zeta-Jones (43) is in New York with her kids.

Sources reveal that they haven’t consulted divorce lawyers yet nor made moves to make the separation legal.

One family friend said: “They both want the best for their kids, no matter what.”

Interestingly, it was Douglas decision to end the marriage. An insider had said: “Catherine is fighting to save the marriage but he’s had it.”

Douglas arrived the Mediterranean island of Sardinia on his private jet. The actor was caught playing golf all alone, something which he usually did along with wife Zeta-Jones.
