In an age where selfies are a rage all over the world, monkeys cannot stay far behind. An amateur wildlife photographer got the fright of his like when a mischievous monkey ran away with his expensive GoPro camera.

To the amusement of the photographer, the delighted simian only wanted to shoot a monkey selfie.

The man was on a holiday in Indonesia's Bali island. When he was at the Uluwatu Temple in Bali the tourist decided to shoot the monkeys there after offering them fruits.

But matters got out of hand when many monkeys began to approach him. His camera was snatched by one of the monkeys. However, he got his camera back as a lady who works at the temple bartered the camera from the monkey with some fruits.

The tourist says that he got his camera back with an amazing video of the monkey's act. Of course he lost a battery, but his loss was made good by the video he got.
