Famous TV actor Pratyusha Banerjee has committed suicide on 1 April 2016 at Mumbai. She is best known for her role as Anandi for her outward nature as well as bubbly nature in a popular Color’s serial, BalikaVadhu. She is known in the industry as a soft spoken girl and made her own space on screen.
She is active on Instagram but the last shared by her was long back. No post was made by her after appearing in Power Couple with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh. The actress hails from Jamshedpur. She looks close to her parents from her Instagram pics.
Prathyusha’s last picture on Instagram was uploaded before entering the Power Couple. She wrote, "Last pic before we enter the power couple house... Wont be uploading pics for a very long time ... So wish me n rahul luck n miss us.. Lots of Love to all our friends ... Ll miss u all tooooooo. May the best couple win."
Power Coupleparticipant SalilAnkola said, “Pratyusha and I worked together only a month ago. She was looking forward to her wedding. I just have no words to how shocking this news is. She was a chirpy and fun loving girl. I am still wondering why she took such a step.”
The former star may have taken her life over turmoil in her relationship with her boyfriend.Police are investigating the case. There is no information yet on any message or suicide note left behind by her, before ending her life.
