Good news for Bikers and Bikers-to-be, from the beginning of next month they can apply for scholarships to take a motorcycle training course.
Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation has even reduced the cost of basic training program from around $300 to a $100 out of pocket co-pay.
“It’s an inexpensive way to get into motorcycling, to get into learning how to ride and getting your motorcycle license,” said Bill Seltzer, an instructor with TEAM Arizona Motorcycle Training Centers.
AMSAF says that yearly around 3000 motorcycle crashes takes place in the state. Courses offered at TEAM Arizona teach riders proper riding, safety and maneuvering techniques.
TEAM’s two day, 15 hour training sessions are held at several times a week, anyone with eligibility can apply for the grant money.
On October 1st, you can visit https://www.amsaf.org/ to apply.
