On Sunday Morning three men were detained in armed robbery spree and shooting in Phoenix.
According to Police, Officers received several calls regarding three suspects robbing convenience stores. The first scene was reported near Interstate 17 and Dunlap Avenue; suspects tried entering the store while displaying handguns. But suspects couldn’t enter as doors were closed so they fled away.
Then they moved to a store near 19th and Glendale avenues. These men entered the store and committed an armed robbery, the assaulted the clerk and shot his female friend.
Woman who was suffering from injuries was immediately taken to the hospital and was reported that she is suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
The third scene was reported at 27th and Missouri Avenue; they couldn’t enter the store as it was locked.
Police said before officers arrived at the scene, the suspect was pointing the gun towards clerk.
However, Police took these three men into custody when they ran away from the scene.
