India has seen many cyclones and fewer other natural calamities like Tsunami, but stood like rock of Gibraltar. Same case even with scams, the growing involvement of elite politicians had been evident to the `Aam Admi.’ But like the hero of the film `Ghajani’, the Aam Admi is pruned to short term memory loss, advantage politicians. This has been the story of the never ending list of scams and tainted politicians. No punishments, no bringing back tainted funds, no issues at all. This only meant that at the end of the day the coffers were only filling with the tax funds from the common man.
Situation is no different in the state either. Today Jagan turns a Hero. In spite of the disproportionate case haunting him, Jagan’s victory in the recent by-polls, have surely placed him on a comfortable pedestal. The CBI looks helpless, only goes on to prove that it had become a weapon for sabotage and finally attracts wrath of the Aam Adhmi. CBI rushed up the case collected valid documents, made hectic and frantic parleys. They even arrested the Vice President of Jagathi publications Vijay Sai Reddy and the media projected him as the `King Pin.’ But what happened? In a few days, 90 days of custody would be over for the gentle man and he would be eligible to apply for bail, provided the CBI fails to frame a charge sheet. This charge sheet could lead to the arrest of the young leader too. However, as per rumors, that is being stalled by the Delhi power house. Given the present situation the state has proved that the ruling party is in a flimsy situation at the electorate, courtesy by-polls results.
Added to this the party from UP preferred to stay away from the UPA and predicted that the general elections could resurface any time this year. The allies in UPA also are having a cold war between themselves. In the given situation positively Congress would not like to gift Jagan with sympathy wave on courting arrest. Also that would devoid the party from pulling the last straw, of a reunion with the young leader, in case of eventualities. All this only shows that the young leader can give a break to his `Yatra’ and relax at his home peacefully. Jagan turned hero in the state scenario, with his-this victory.
In the given situation the Aam Adhmi has some unanswered questions lingering in his mind as per critics.
• Firstly are the cases fostered against the young leader baseless/vindictive/sabotage?
• If not why the charge sheet is yet not filed?
• In spite of repeated rounds of investigations, custody and what not? Has the investigating agency got anything against them?
• Who is right and who is wrong?
But anything could happen in unpredictable politics, Jagan could be arrested also, let off or might not be arrested at all. Everything depends on the Delhi power house strategy and execution. The morale of the story is, `scam overlaps scam’ and in the cycle only the last one is highlighted and the others vanish.
