The state is gearing up for the 18 by-polls that are to be scheduled sooner or later. However political speculators feel that the by-polls shall not be on the near anvil. As per sources Congress feels that given the present situation the balance seems to be tilting away from the party. Hence seniors suggest that if the local body polls are conducted, the ruling party will get a mileage. As most local polls, vote for the ruling as per history. This would pave was for a majority in the by-polls consecutively. Resting rumors let us take a direct plunge into the by-poll strategy adopted by various parties. Yeah why parties feel the Kadapa polls are the vital points to launch their success yatra. Before we go into detail let us evaluate the district which is the fortress of the Reddy clan. Kadapa is the triumphant town for the former Chief Minister Late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. Today the same amount of patronizing is showered on his son and the YSR Congress Chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
As for the Congress, the state leaders would definitely like to prove that the `Jagan-Factor’ has been disseminated by their strides. To prove this point they need to go all out to ensure victory. The Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is the most worried of all, because others can change their stands based on the results. But the CM has no way to go and is forced to win. After the recent meeting a Delhi, gyan seems to have fallen on the Leaders of the party. The cat and mouse game is temporarily off the news. Even media has caught up with the PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana today in Kadapa. Botsa is quoted as `Kadapa elections is a war between the welfare schemes adopted by the Congress and the selfishness of the power hungry Jagan.’ The PCC Chief is on a two day visit to the district.
As for the Telugu Desam Party, Chief is also in the district and trailing behind the Congress to campaign for the by-polls. TDP which has lost its reckoning for sometime would like to utilize the differences in Congress leaders and return to power by all means. Another vital point is that the party must be confident to win as they are sure that a split in the Congress vote bank is imminent due the emergence of the YSR Cong. Lastly TDP, as per political critics, will not survive further, if this time it does not make up to the victory stands and most of it would depend on the present by-polls.
Thirdly the YSR Congress has much to gain from these by-polls. Political Critics feel that the YSR Cong would like to prove that it is indomitable force, by winning all the18 seats. Hence high stake take over desperate parties as the by-polls are fast approaching. Lots of critic analyses, more of speculations are to criss-cross the media in the coming days. To keep tab of the latest developments, keep watching the updates. (With inputs from internet: AarKay)
