Anti-corruption crusader and social activist, Anna Hazare has said that he would be holding a joint rally with Yoga guru Ramdev Baba (who is also a strong supporter of Lokpal Bill) on June 3 in Delhi as a part of peaceful protest against the delay in Lokpal Bill and black money issue.

Anna Hazare has took on the Centre yet another time for beating around the bush on Lokpal Bill.  Anna Hazare has blamed UPA’s ego and asked the Centre to put aside its ego for the sake of the country and society.  He has demanded the Congress led UPA Government to ensure that Lokpal Bill get passed in the current Parliament sessions.

Talking about the alleged irregularities in a report by Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) against minister in Maharashtra in connection with land allotments, Anna Hazare has said that all the accused should be awarded life imprisonments in case if their guilt is proved.

It may be mentioned that Anna Hazare raise his voice against the corruption and demanded the government to pass Lokpal Bill. He-along with is team members-launched India Against Corruption and the campaign evoked huge response. Anna Hazare sat for hunger protest and the Centre eventually agreed to his demands.  (Phani)
