Four burned bodies recovered from INS Sindhurakshak

The report has come on 16th Aug 2013, that Indian navy on Friday recovered four burned bodies from a submarine that burst forth violently in a Mumbai dockyard. To move ahead, it was improbable any of the other 14 missing crewmen would be found alive. Furthermore, the diesel-powered INS Sindhurakshak sank in a military dockyard early on Wednesday, dealing a setback to India’s naval ambitions just days subsequently it exposed its first domestically made aircraft carrier. In fact, Navy divers managed to enter the vessel, whose forward section was totally destroyed in the fire, yet their progress was obstructed by extreme heat, poor visibility and severely injured hatches. It seems that a navy statement explained that the first bodies were recovered from the most easily accessible compartments on Friday and have been sent for DNA testing due to the reason of severe burns obstructed their identification.
