Happiness is in giving..! For all those who believe in this, here is a program named Akshaya Patra or Walk for Hunger at Kiwanis Park, Arizona, on 31 January 2016. The nonprofit organization, Akshaypatra, is organizing the event to raise money in order to offer free mid-day meals in government schools at the same time promote literacy in underprivileged children.
It is so interesting and joy to learn that you can feed a child for entire year for just $15 dollars. Giving the gift of Akshaya Patra meals would fuel the dreams of children who are hungry to learn! Your holiday donation to Akshaya Patra is a true gift to offer meals as well as keep children in school where they have access to the life-long benefits of education.
Organizers are encouraging everyone to walk and reach out children and assuring that 100% benefits would proceed directly to benefit Under-privileged Children. For you to take part, register yourself. Ticket rates for adults are $15and for children 13 years old and below are $12. A family of four is charged $40. Tickets include free food, drinks, face painting as well as raffle.
