Actress Radhika Apte joined superstar Rajinikanth in Malaysia for the final schedule of Kabali, which is an upcoming Tamil gangster drama.
A source close to the film’s unit was quoted by IANS as saying that, “Important scenes between Rajinikanth and Radhika, besides some action sequences will be shot in this schedule that will go on for nearly three weeks in Malaysia.”
Pa. Ranjith is directing the movie. Radhika is playing Rajinikanth’s wife in the film, which also features Malaysian actors. Kabali is based on real-life don Kabaleeshwaran and Rajini is playing an ageing don in the film schedule to hit screens in May 2016. Other prominent actors in the film are Dinesh, Kalaiarasan, Dhanshikaa, Ritwika, who will be ssen in important roles.
Earlier, Superstar Rajinikanth, who was all set to fly to Malaysia for Kabali's shoot, apparently reached at the Chennai international airport without his passport.
According to a report in The Quint, a source close to the actor said, "The whole incident was like a nail biting climax of a Rajinikanth movie as the actor realized that he had forgotten his passport and requested help from his assistant, who fetched it for him in the nick of time.”
