Superstar Rajinikanth wrapped up the shoot of 2.0 and Kaala. He is on a break and is making his plans for political entry soon. He has been expressing his views on the ongoing issues in Tamil Nadu. The Cauvery issue created a rift between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Rajinikanth even expressed his views about it. Now this has impacted the release of Kaala in Karnataka after the buyers decided to stall the film’s release. The distributors of Karnataka decided not to screen the film.
After this, Karnataka Film Association decided to ban the film in the state. Rajinikanth has been left in shock with the ban. “I don't know for what reason they have banned my movie. South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce should intervene in this and manage to get Kaala a decent release in Karnataka” said Rajinikanth. PA Ranjith directed the movie and Kaala is set for release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages on June 7th. Wunderbar Films produced Kaala and Lyca Productions is releasing the film worldwide.
