Vicky Donor has won three National Awards, which happens to be actor-producer John Abraham debut production project and now John believes that his performance in Shootout At Wadala is one of his "best" while he says it would be "great" if his work is praised with the prestigious honour too.
John played real life gangster Manya Surve in the movie.
The 40-year-old expressed his view on Tuesday at the music launch of Shootout at Wadala that this is one of the best performances of his career and he hope to get the appreciation both critically and commercially, and if he get the National Award, then that will be splendid.
He also added that right now they are just thinking about success and performance, so he would like to hope for the best.
John while saying more stressed on the fact that the audience will be shocked to see him in this role while he explained that for him, Shootout At Wadala is a completely different film which would be the vital reason for the shock perhaps.
He also expressed his excitement and would said to the audiences that 'he hope he don't disappoint anyone and he hope that all would enjoy the film.
Shootout At Wadala has been Directed by Sanjay Gupta, also features actors Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, Kangna Ranaut and Mahesh Manjrekar.
It's going to be releasing on May 1....so the countdown starts now!
