We may have become tired of hearing the same title Mission Impossible over and over but the superstar Tom Cruise hasn't had enough of toying with impossible challenges and explosives yet. It is now official that he will work on another MI project to reprise his character as the top secret agent Ethan Hunt for Mission Impossible 5. Christopher McQuarrie may be directing the movie reportedly.

It is not known currently whether the name will bear a tag like the last one, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The 50-year-old scientologist has inked the deal with Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions. He expects to take his relationship with Christopher McQuarrie after their stints in Jack Reacher, a movie that managed only a lukewarm response.

This would be a direct sequel to the 2011's edition of the movie which managed over $700 million worldwide in the boxoffice. Interestingly, Paramount and Skydance are pondering whether to go for a sequel to action flick 'Jack Reacher', that had over USD 200 million in the piggybank!
