Graceful American actress Jessica Alba is set to boost-start the glamour quotient at next week's inaugural Social Star Awards at MasterCard Theatres, Marina Bay Sands.

Interestingly, the 32-year-old star, who played Susan Storm, also known as Invisible Woman, in the Fantastic Four movies (2005 and 2007), will be hosting the event on May 23, dubbed the Oscars of the social media world.

Furthermore, she is known to have joined The American rock icons Aerosmith, K-pop star Psy, soul-pop singer CeeLo Green, Canadian breakout pop star Carly Rae Jepsen, popular dance-pop act LMFAO's Sky Blu and Asian girl group Blush.

At the conclusion, these acts will perform at the show and, with the exception of Sky Blu which will also stage full concerts at Gardens by the Bay after the awards on May 24 and 25.
