George Lucas became a proud dad of a little baby girl – Everest Hobson Lucas, at the age of 69.

The silver-haired Star Wars director reaffirmed that it's never too old to be a daddy.

Lucas confirmed the news of the birth of their daughter to a new channel. Apparently, the baby was born to him and wife Mellody Hobson  through surrogacy on August 9.

Everest is the couple's first biological child. The couple have 3 adopted children.

The director married Hobson on June 22 at the Skywalker Ranch in Marin County, California, in the presence of several celebrity guests this year.
