The Super Four matches of the Asia Cup 2022 commenced and India played with Pakistan in their first match last night. Pakistan won the toss and they elected to field first. Team India reported a decent total of 181 for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. Indian star batsman Virat Kohli is back to form and his beautiful knock of 60 helped the team to score a respectable total. Rohit Sharma (28) and KL Rahul (28) are the other top scorers for the side. Shadab Khan (2/31), Mohammad Nawaz (1/25) and Muhammad Hasnain (1/38) bagged the wickets among the Pakistan bowlers.

Chasing a total of 182, Pakistan completed it comfortably in 19.5 overs. Mohammad Rizwan (71), Mohammad Nawaz (42) and Asif Ali (16) are the top scorers for the side. Pakistan took a revenge on Team India after it was defeated during the league stage. Pakistan won the match by five wickets. The match took place in Dubai International Stadium. India will play with Sri Lanka tomorrow in their next match. India will also play with Afghanistan in their next match on September 8th.
