The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold smartphone is now available in India. Google's second-generation foldable smartphone, announced at the Made by Google event last month, is part of the company's flagship lineup this year, alongside the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The smartphone is powered by Google's Tensor G4 chip and has 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The standard Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL models are currently available in India, while the Pixel 9 Pro model will be available at a later date. The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is priced at Rs 172,999 and is available in a 16GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The foldable smartphone is also available in one color: Obsidian (black). The smartphone is available in India on e-commerce platform Flipkart and select retailers such as Reliance Digital and Croma. As an introductory offer, customers who purchase smartphones through Flipkart can get discounts of up to Rs 10,000 on ICICIBank cards. There is also an option to avail no-cost EMI plans for up to 12 months.

Additionally, the company is offering a Google charger included with the smartphone at a discounted price of Rs 3,498. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold marks Google's entry into the Indian foldable device market. The book-style foldable device features a 6.3-inch Actua display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9 and supports refresh rates from 60 Hz to 120 Hz. The outer screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protected. The flexible 8-inch Super Actua Flex main display has a resolution of 2076 x 2152 pixels and supports variable refresh rates from 1 Hz to 120 Hz. Powered by Google's Tensor G4 processor, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has 16 GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the same as the Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL models. The device also features a triple rear camera system that includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide camera with macro focus, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. For added durability, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold features a multi-alloy steel hinge covered in high-strength aluminum alloy. Maintains IPX8 waterproof rating. The device is powered by a 4650mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging and also has wireless charging capabilities.
