The launch of the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, which was recently listed online on Samsung's global website, has been confirmed in India. The company has revealed some of the key features and color options of the Indian version of the phone. It's worth noting that this phone offers six operating system upgrades and six years of security updates, which is unprecedented in this price range. The phone features Key Island design elements with the power button and volume rocker on the right edge. In a press release, Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy A16 5G will be launching in India soon. Although the company has not announced the launch date yet, it has been confirmed that the Indian version will be available in three colors - Blue-Black, Gold and Light Green. The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G is presented as a mid-range product. Notably, the 4GB + 128GB variant of the phone costs €249 (roughly Rs. 23,000) in some markets. The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G has received 6 firmware upgrades and 6 years of security updates in India, as well as the confirmed global version. The model design and key features are also similar to the global options. The phone will be launched in India and features an IP54 dust- and splash-proof construction along with Key Island functionality.
