Samsung's Galaxy S25 series phones have been part of several leaks and rumors for some time now. The South Korean tech giant has yet to announce an official launch date, but new information suggests the launch will take place in January next year. The Galaxy S25 series Galaxy Unpacked event is reportedly set to take place in the US. In addition to the regular Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra models, the upcoming range will also include a new Galaxy S25 Slim model. According to a report in Financial News (Korea), Samsung's highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series is set to launch on January 23, 2025. According to reports, the Galaxy Unpacked event featuring the collection will take place in San Francisco, USA. In addition to the regular Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra models, Samsung could also unveil the long-rumored Galaxy S25 Slim at the event. Previous rumors suggested that the slim model's release date would be delayed. Additionally, MaxJambor confirmed the release plan with a skeptical X post. He claimed that Samsung could host a “Galaxy Unpacked” event on January 22 next year. If the dates differ by one day, it may be due to the different time zone.
Samsung Electronics announced in its third quarter financial results that the Galaxy S25 series will be launched in the first half of next year. However, the company has not revealed the exact launch plan. Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the smartphone would launch in early January. This year's Galaxy S24 series was unveiled on January 17 in San Jose, California. The Galaxy S23 series was launched on February 1 last year. It is speculated that all Galaxy S25 series smartphones will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is likely that the new Galaxy AI features will be included. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra are available in seven colors and the Galaxy S25 Plus in eight colors. Three colors will also only be available online.
