Google is said to be working on a Pixel-branded laptop with high-end specs. According to reports, the tech giant has assembled a team for the project and the brand may integrate some pretty advanced hardware into the upcoming device. The so-called Pixel laptop can run Android instead of ChromeOS. It is expected to compete with Apple MacBook Pro or Microsoft Surface laptops. Google has announced its latest 2019 Pixel laptop, the PixelBook Go. Citing an internal email, Android Headlines reports that Google will soon return to the laptop market with a new premium Pixel laptop. Internally, the laptop (codenamed Snowy) is expected to compete with other high-end laptops including the MacBook Pro, Dell XPS, Microsoft Surface and Samsung Galaxy Chromebook. It is expected to be of good quality. The specifications indicate the release date of the Pixel-branded laptop. Google has reportedly appointed a team to create a Pixel laptop whose premium design will reportedly run on Chrome OS.

It's been a long time since Google released the Pixel laptop. At the Made by Google event in October 2019, the brand unveiled the PixelBook Go alongside the Google Pixel Buds, Nest Wi-Fi and Nest Mini. The first Pixel-branded Chromebook was released in 2013. The Pixelbook Go comes with Chrome OS and is equipped with Intel Core M3 processors in the base version and Intel Core i7 processors in the top version. It has a 13.3-inch display and 8GB or 16GB of RAM. 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB of storage is also available.
