Without having any name acknowledged a bidder was known to have paid 6,05,000 dollars while making it the highest amount ever, during a half an hour meeting along with Apple's chief Tim during his presence in a charity auction for celebrities' time.
The Guardian reports said that the auction was known to be organized by Charitybuzz website, wherein this bid went beyond in amount of the earlier auction of an entire day with former president Bill Clinton which stood at 225,000 dollars although it reaches the site's previous record during March when a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster was auctioned at 610,000 dollars. Making it as a special mention that the highest bidder, calling himself as just 'J*****n', who will be paying 20,000 dollars- a- minute, outbid the other bidders which included companies that make accessories and covers for Apple devices.
According to report that says, that the auction bid of coffee with Tim Cook is considered as the highest grosser on the website since the company's launch in 2005, adding that the company expects to raise over a million dollars for human rights.
The report furthered that the website, which donates the money from the auctions to Robert Kennedy Centre for Justice and Human Rights, has earlier auctioned for time with celebrities such as U2's Bono, Paul McCartney, cars, autographed instruments and also a walk-on part in Scary Movie5. Making it as a concluding statement that the auction at Charitybuzz is now restricted to bidders who have proved their financial bona fides to a bank so as to make the bids free from doubt in case of making payment.
