This image consists mostly of ice particles and small amounts of rock debris and dust. This image, taken by NASA's Cassini solar system probe, shows the graceful contours of the planet's rings. According to NASA, there are approximately 146 satellites orbiting the Earth, 63 of which are officially named. The spacecraft captured images of the planet at a distance of about 581,000 miles (935,000 km) from Saturn. The black and white view of the planet was taken when half of it was illuminated by sunlight. A close look at the photo will help you identify Saturn's moon Pandora.
