SS Rajamouli’s contribution for Indian cinema has been exceptional and he delivered out the best outputs for the concepts through which he made films. He surprised the audience with his last outing Baahubali: The Beginning which released last year and smashed all the existing records in Indian cinema. Made on a budget of Rs 180 crores, the film collected Rs 650 crores in its final run across the globe.
After grabbing the national award for the best film, the director is currently busy shooting the second instalment of the movie titled Baahubali: The Conclusion which has been aimed for 2017 summer release. As per the latest news, Rajamouli has been nominated for the Indian of the Year award for films which will be announced later this year.
The event will be hosted by CNN News 18 Group and film personalities like Sanjay LeelaBhansali, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra are competing along with Rajamouli for the award. Wishing Rajamouli Good Luck and the awards will be announced later this year.
