Story

Appatlo Okadundevadu is the story of Imtiaz (Nara Rohit) and Railway Raju (Sri Vishnu). Raju aims of turning an International cricketer who loves his mother and sister. He falls in love with Nithya (Tanya Hopes) who even falls for him. Imtiaz loses his parents during a naxal attack during his childhood because of which he hates them. Imtiaz aims on Raju whose sister is a naxalite after which the movie takes many turns. The rest of Appatlo Okadundevadu is all about the war between Imtiaz and Railway Raju. Analysis

The first half of Appatlo Okadundevadu starts on a slow pace and enough time has been taken to frame the characters on screen. The movie catches pace after the entry of Rohit and Appatlo Okadundevadu and the narration looks quick and interesting. The songs and the love story has been narrated with interest and the interval episodes keep the audience surprising. On the whole, Appatlo Okadundevadu has a decent first half which raises the curiosity towards the second half.

The second half of the film looks dragged though the major plot has not been deviated. Some of the episodes look unnecessary and test the patience of the audience. Most of the film revolves around the character of Railway Raju and the film catches pace after Rohit takes the lead. The climax twist will sure surprise everyone making the second half decent.

Performance

Nara Rohit has been stupendous with his performance in the film and is the major highlight of Appatlo Okadundevadu. He has been natural throughout and his expressions have been top notch. Sri Vishnu waited for his time and Railway Raju is the character that elevated his performance well. He is one of the major highlight of Appatlo Okadundevadu. Tanya Hopes has been decent in the assigned role and she performed with ease. All the other actors have been decent.

The story has been interesting but it has not been touched with regular commercial elements. The screenplay and the dialogues have been decent and will sure impress the audience. The music has been decent and the cinematography has been top notch. The production values have been grand and debutant director Sagar K Chandra managed to keep the audience engaging with a decent narration.
