Gabbar Singh 2 is very much on. Rumours that the Pawan Kalyan-starrer 'Gabbar Singh 2' has been shelved began floating soon after the actor signed the Telugu remake of Bollywood film 'Oh My God'.

The female lead of the film has not yet been decided, which added to the buzz that the project has been shelved. Rumours about the future of the film were so strong that the makers of the film had to issue a clarification that the film is very much on.

The filmmakers have stated that Pawan Kalyan would be shooting for 'Gabbar Singh 2' simultaneously with the Telugu version of 'Oh My God'.

Director Sampath Nandi has stated that the hunt for the female lead on and announcement will be made as soon as the heroin is signed for the project.
