Actress Shruti Haasan has sung a dubstep number for her forthcoming action film 'Race Gurram'. Shruti, who is a successful actress in Tollywood is known for her singing prowess as well.
The song sung by Shruti is titled 'Down Down Duppa' and has been composed by S.S Thaman. Shruti posted on her Twitter account about her singing in the film.
Her Twitter post read, "What an awesome shoot for Down Down Duppa! (I) hope you love the song"
The actress also credited the entire team for the hard work on the song.
Director Surendar Reddy stated that the idea to make Shruti sing was that of Thaman.
Shruti Haasan has earlier sung songs like 'Oh My Friend' and 'Eenadu' in Telugu films whech turned out to be chartbusters.
'Race Gurram' stars Shruti Haasan, Allu Arjun, Saloni Aswani and Ravi Kisha. The film is scheduled for a summer release.
