Megastar Chiranjeevi is undergoing a shoulder surgery for an "ailment" at a hospital located in Mumbai. The ailment has troubled him for a long time now, according to sources.

According to a source close to the actor, “It's a minor surgery. Chiranjeevi has been wanting to fix an old condition that has been bothering him for a long time now. He is soon going to begin shooting for the Kaththi remake and wants to ensure that he is totally fit before the film starts rolling.”

Chiranjeevi would return after some time o Hyderabad following the surgery, as doctors advised him not to travel immediately. The surgery is a minor one and would allow him to fix the old problem troubling him from a long time. The actor would soon begin the shoot for Kaththi remake and wants to be fit completely, before it begins.

Mega star did not turn up for the voting in GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) elections. Amid many speculations, reports came out that the star Breach Candy Hospital for the surgery.

The remake movie would be the 150th movie of the megastar. It not yet titled. Superstar Vijay played the lead role in Tamil Kaththi.
