Megastar Chiranjeevi has been quite busy with the pre-production work of his next film which has been based on the life story of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. The movie has been titled Syeraa and the official announcement came on Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday. Surendar Reddy will direct this periodic drama which will be made on a massive budget and in multiple languages. Megastar will be reprising the role of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy in the movie.

Top technicians like AR Rahman, Ravivarman and Rajeevan have been roped in for the film and the pre-production work is going on brisk pace. There are strong talks that AR Rahman walked out of the film as he was not comfortable with the movie unit. All the leading news portals and news channels carried the news. However the inside report is that AR Rahman is extremely comfortable with the film unit and he is currently busy composing the tunes for Syeraa.  Surendar Reddy has been extremely impressed with the work of AR Rahman informed a source from the movie unit.

The makers are currently busy erecting massive sets for the film across multiple cities. Megastar Chiranjeevi is working on his looks and top costume designer Anju Modi is designing his clothes and ornaments. Nayanathara and Pragya Jaiswal are the female leads and the third heroine is yet to be finalized. The regular shoot of the film will start rolling from the mid of October in Hyderabad and pan Indian actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu and criticially acclaimed actors Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi have been roped in for the crucial roles. Ramcharan will bankroll the project on Konidela Production Company banner. The movie has been announced for release during the second half of 2018 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages.
