Vijay’s most awaited film Mersal has been creating ripples across the circles of Tamil Nadu. Directed by Atlee, the movie grossed over Rs 100 crores and is still running strong. Despite of several controversies surrounded, the movie has been running with packed houses all over. The Telugu version of the movie titled Adhirindi which has been planned for simultaneous release has been delayed due to censor issues.

Now the film finally cleared all the censor formalities and it has been awarded U/A certificate. The film will hit the screens on October 27th and will lock horns with Ram’s Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi. Directed by Atlee, Samantha, Kajal and Nithya Menen essayed the female leads in Adhirindi. Vijay played three different roles in the film.
