Talented Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda is shooting for his next film titled Liger. The movie is directed by Puri Jagannadh and the film will head for a pan-Indian release next year. The shoot of the film resumed in Goa and the entire shoot is expected to be completed by the end of the year. There are strong rumors that American actor Mike Tyson will be seen in a crucial role in Liger. The makers made an official announcement today along with a short video byte. This happens to be the first Indian film for Mike Tyson.

The American boxer will be seen in the role of Vijay Deverakonda's mentor who plays a boxer in the film. A major schedule of the film is planned abroad and Mike Tyson will join the sets in this schedule. Puri Jagannadh along with Karan Johar is producing Liger. Ananya Pandey is the leading lady and Manisharma is composing the music. Liger is the costliest film made in Vijay Deverakonda's career. The film is expected to have a 2022 release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
