Radhe Shyam happened to be one of the most awaited films of Indian cinema. The movie is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and Pooja Hegde played the love interest of Prabhas. Radhe Shyam opened on a wide note but the film received a lukewarm response from the audience. Radhe Shyam maintained strength in Telugu states but the film performed badly in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages. UV Creations and Gopikrishna Movies are the producers of this romantic entertainer that is set in Europe.
Radhe Shyam raked Rs 71.8 crores across the globe in its first weekend including all the languages. The theatrical rights of Radhe Shyam are valued at Rs 210 crores and the film has to perform exceptionally well to recover the investments. The movie is made on a budget of Rs 300 crores and the non-theatrical rights are sold for Rs 200 crores. The makers made handsome profits even before the release of the film and the distributors will suffer huge losses. T Series bagged the non-theatrical and the theatrical rights of the Hindi version.
