Natural Star Nani delivered a series of flops and the actor has high hopes on Dasara, a mass entertainer. Srikanth Odela is making his debut as director with this mass entertainer. A massive set of village is constructed in seven acres and Nani resumed the shoot of the film. The budget is revised after Nani's last film Ante Sundaraniki ended up as a disaster. Nani pinned all his hopes on the film and he slashed down his remuneration as the film is planned on a massive budget. He will share the profits of the film along with the makers of Dasara.
As per the update, the non-theatrical rights of Dasara are sold for a record price. The non-theatrical rights fetched Rs 47 crores for the makers and this is the highest among Nani's films. The non-theatrical rights of his last film Shyam Singha Roy brought Rs 35 crores for the makers. The makers spent Rs 2 crores for a song recently. A village set worth Rs 6 crores is constructed. Keerthy Suresh is the leading lady and Santosh Narayanan is the music director. Sudhakar Cherukuri is producing Dasara on SLV Cinemas banner. The film is aimed for release early next year. Nani is yet to announce his new film after Dasara.
