The Telanaga movement spear headed by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi gained momentum after the by-polls victory by the party. The cadre were enthralled by the victory and rejoiced that the growing T-state sentiment was evident from the romping victory. The celebrations of the UGADI gained momentum with the victory and the Telangana Bhavan was decked up with colorful decorations. In the wee hours senior party functionaries conducted pooja to mark the New Year.

Damodar Sharma, a prominent astrologer attended the celebrations as is customary. On his discourse about the various developments in the constellations and the moon signs, the astrologer confirmed that as per the stars the Telangana state will form by the end of this year. The Panchanga recital by the astrologer further said that those of the leaders who are independently fighting for the cause shall unite and cruise ahead as unified mighty force.  He also added that as per the desires of the TRS Chief, his stars shall fulfill his dreams this year.

The astrologer also made a stunning revelation that Telangana will be ruled by women Chief Minister. He added that this year will extremely good for farmers and all others in the region.
