TRS, Congress and TDP members of the Telangana region stalled the business of the Lok Sabha for the fourth consecutive day today on the issue of Telangana. Due to the din, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House till 12 noon.

As soon as the House assembled, the pro-Telangana MPs barged into the well of the House holding placards that read ‘Jai Telangana’, ‘Indecision is resulting in suicides’ and ‘Introduce T Bill’.

The members also raised slogans in favour of Telangana creating uproar which led to the adjournment of the proceedings by the Speaker Meira Kumar.

After the adjournment of the House, the members assembled at the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Parliament premises and staged a dharna holding the same placards.

T issue rocks Assembly

Telangana issue rocked the AP assembly too for the fourth consecutive day today with TRS members demanding introduction of Telangana resolution.

As soon as the assembly met on the last day of the budget session, TRS members surrounded the podium and raised slogans demanding introduction of Telangana resolution. As the din continued, Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the House for 15 minutes. (J)
