In a sensational disclosure, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu today accused the Centre of pressurizing the CBI not to include the name of the YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the charge sheet to be filed in the illegal assets case involving him.
“The CBI is under pressure not to include the name of Jagan in the charge sheet,” Naidu told journalists in Hyderabad.
Naidu said the scene changed with regard to the Jagan case after he left for Delhi and had an agreement with the congress following the arrest of former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy in the illegal mining case.
Speaking about the CAG report which said the YSR regime had doled out lands at its will and pleasure to favoured persons, Naidu said who ever called YSR a great leader should now call him a great leader of exploitation. “No where in India has such a mega land scam taken place as in AP,” he observed.
Naidu said the TDP has been striving to solve the Telangana issue through a serious debate and hoped there would be a quick solution to it. (J)
