The former Rajya Sabha Member and a Senior Congress Leader K Kesavarao (KK) from Telangana region organised a meeting of Congress leaders from the region at his residence on Friday. The meeting was attended by many MPs and MLAs of the region. Speaking to the Congress leaders, KK remembered the earlier verdict of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Leader K Chandrasekhar Rao. He said that sometime back KCR had said that if Congress issued orders for a separate Telangana state then he would merge his party into Congress. KK also exprtessed that once Telangana was formed there was no need for TRS.
KK added that nobody must neglect the sacrifices done by students in the T struggle. The martyrs must be remembered by all who are fighting the T war.
KK also said that all leaders fighting for the Telangana movement must join hands and form a common agenda. Only when forces are united a stronger force can be formed and in turn bring in more pressure on gaining the objective. It may be noted that KK’s T Stand and his proximity to the TRS leader cost him his Rajya Sabha re-nomination. Yet the relentless senior leader pursuits his goal.
