HDFC Bank on 23rd May was known to have handed over to the local police fake currency notes worth exceeding Rs 3.60 lakh which have been deposited in the bank's various ATMs in the district, as explained by the police.
Furthering with the incident, Thana incharge Ramnarayan Sharma have told that bundles of fake currency were brought to the Chotigwal-toli Thana by HDFC Chest Manager. Mr Sharma added that the fake notes were known to be in denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 100 amounting to more than Rs 3.60 lakh which were collected in HDFC's branches through ATMs in the last four months.
Now, a case under section 489 of IPC have been lodged, at the same time investigation have begun.
It has become a nonsensical situation in the humankind that every moment we are tend to face fraudulent act in the society. The prominent fact remain that we don’t know whom to be trusted and whom not to.
