Causing intense surprise the co-owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team Rajasthan Royals has been suspended from the game pending an inquiry with a charge being at the core of a betting at the same time spot-fixing scandal. The information was known to have been revealed by a top Indian official on Monday.
Furthering with the issue, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) called an emergency meeting at a luxury hotel in New Delhi on Monday having an intention to discuss the Rajasthan Royals as well as their co-owner Raj Kundra.
The prominent factor remains here that Kundra who happens to be a businessman as well husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has known to have allowed illegal betting on his team. The police investigation further exposed that an increased scandal have powerfully shaken the game. It came into prominence from a senior BCCI man that Raj Kundra has been suspended from all cricketing activities pending an inquiry as he left the meeting on condition of being a person lacking in individuality.
That's highly disgraceful as far as cricketing culture is concerned!
