Rajasthan Royals Shanthakumaran Sreesanth along with two other players have been arrested by Delhi police on suspicion of spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League as a result of which, India's cricket board (BCCI) immediately suspended Sreesanth and his team mates Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila while they promised regarding stricter punishments if they are found guilty.
As a special mention, BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale mentioned in a statement that the BCCI has zero tolerance to corruption therefore they will offer all co-operation to the Delhi police and all other authorities in their investigations in this matter. Now, coming to the spot-fixing which involves the fact of being manipulated of individual incidents within a match may not affect the outcome of the contest.
While keeping record of the past the famously exposed London trial proceeding to jailing of three Pakistan cricketers in 2011 remains a prevalent factor.
There will be no way for the Guilty to escape from punishment as they are bound to face the reality when they get caught.
