Police has taken into custody a Phoenix man for allegedly bringing his two daughters, aged 2 and 6, while conducting a drug deal. On Monday afternoon Anthony Castaneda, 25, first met a man at a fast-food restaurant along with his little girls. Then all of them drove to a drug house to buy heroin worth $300.
According to the police, Castaneda even took his 2-year-old daughter inside the house while his 6-year-old daughter slept alone in the backseat with an addict. Castaneda and his accomplice were followed by undercover officers while they were driving away after collecting the drug. They stopped them and reportedly found heroin in the car.
Castaneda has been kept in custody on charges of suspected child abuse and drug possession. His accomplice was arrested as he already had an outstanding warrant in his name.
